Goði Justin Gonka
Thegn of the South-Central Alaskan Hof

My name is Justin Gonka. I am a prior coast guardsmen. I served from 2004-2006. I was a machinery technician. I used my GI bill and received an associates degree in business and computer technology. I then decided I wanted a bachelor's degree and went back for a degree in accounting and criminal justice. I did public accounting until November of 2021. I now work for the federal government. My dream job is to work federal law enforcement and that may be happening soon.

I began my journey as a heathen in 2021. Shortly after, I was introduced to a group of Military members that were practicing Heathens and met on a regular basis to learn. That group eventually grew into what is now known as AMH. In January of 2023, I was voted on to become Thane of the JBER hof. I was also ordained as a gothi of AMH in January 2023. I will continue to help this community grow and look forward to working with all of our members. I welcome any questions and will be here to help.

Goði Brandon Jacobs

Goði Spencer Lilly
Thegn of the International Regional Hof

Howdy, I am Spencer Lilly. I reside in South-Central Alaska with my family. I have been practicing Heathenry for over a decade and enjoy sharing the knowledge I have gained from my travels. Originally from South Carolina, I joined the Air Force to travel the world, After nearly 17 years, I decided to settle and transferred to the Alaska Air National Guard as a Non-commissioned officer and will retire here. Most of the time you will find me out partaking in the Great Outdoors as well sharing it with others, as well as restocking my freezer with fish. I also enjoy planning outings for my local community and expanding our practice into the natural world around us as we seek connections with the Gods/Goddesses.

I believe that community is a cornerstone of my practice and that developing those bonds of frith are key. As such I strive to keep AMH a place that all members feel safe and welcome. I look forward to seeing this community continue to grow! Hail the Gods and Goddesses! Hail to the Landvættir! Hail to our Community

Thegn of the Fayetville, NC Hof

Hail, I am Kristina. I am 35 years old and married to my husband of 7 years Chad. We have two awesome boys, Ashton and Connor, as well as a zoo of animals to include three dogs and two cats. I currently serve in the Active Duty Army as a Mortuary Affairs Specialist. I have 17 years of military experience ranging from recruiting to all things logistics. I have a Master’s of Science in Forensic Psychology with goals to eventually pursue a Doctorate. I have been a practicing heathen for several years and believe that there is always more that we can learn. I believe that building a strong community to be able to freely share our experiences is important, because without those we have nothing. I joined AMH to be able to learn and find a community that openly accepts people of all walks of life. My goal is to help make AMH a safe place for all involved and allow people to learn and be able to follow their own individual path. I am excited to see where this community goes! Hail to the Gods and Goddesses, and Hail to our Community!

Kevin Nyman

 Dustin Russell

Over the last few years, I have had opportunity to travel and gain some of the knowledge a man cannot have by staying in one place; thanks to 6 years in the USAF as an AMMO troop. The more I travelled, listened, and learned the less my old ways fit. At some point I found myself searching. Initially in hopes of strengthening and defending my former faith, the last straw broke; I could no longer convince myself to carry on that way. However, I see too much natural beauty in the world, whether the grandeur of a sprawling forest or mountain-scape, the complex intelligence of corvids, or the genuine kindness of a young child sharing their snack with you. I couldn't accept that there is nothing more than what we see, and I found myself drawn to the Norse Gods and Heathenry. What started as curiosity for the lore lead to clarity and a feeling of home within the faith that I never truly felt before. I began practicing in earnest starting around mid-2021, though it feels as though I've been here far longer. I am ecstatic to have found my way to such an excellent group of people within AMH and to be part of something so incredible!

Zach Smith

Hail, I am Zach. I was born in 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have a wife and three children. I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. During my service in Fallujah, Iraq, in 2004, Heathenry began to resonate deeply with me. For years, I lived as a "closet" Heathen, delving into the concepts of animism, fate, frith, and other elements of the faith, uncertain of where to turn for community and guidance.

In 2019, I took the first steps toward finding a community where I could learn, grow, and share knowledge in Heathenry. This journey led me to the Alliance of Military Heathens, a unique and welcoming group. My goal within this space is to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, whether they are new to the path or have been practicing for years.

Hail to the God and Goddesses, and Hail to our Community!

Eric Stoltz

Skal Brothers and Sisters!  I'm Eric Stoltz, and I'm 34 years old. I currently have 17 years of service with the Army Reserves as a wheeled vehicle driver and platoon sergeant. I reside in Arizona with my wife, 3 step kids and 1 biological. I have been in the Heathen path for about 10 years and still have much to learn about the faith. I was brought up in a Roman Catholic house, where from a young age I felt a calling to something else but couldn't pursue it until after I turned 18. I then searched and did research to find where the calling was from and finally found it as a Heathen, as it is commonly called. Everything started to make sense and I found some answers to where I was being called. I work for a DoD contractor on the civilian side in a maintenance shop. I hope to build a strong community of Heathens and dispel the twisted view of Heathenry as a hate group that has plagued the community and create a clear line where people can recognize the difference between the hate groups and real actual Heathenry as intended by the All Father. Hail to the Gods and Goddesses! Hail to the AMH! Hail to the Community!

Michael Stowe
Thegn of the South-East US Regional Hof

Skal, my friends!  My name is Michael (He/ Him), and I am a former US Navy Seabees. I was discharged honorably after 14 years of service.  I deployed many times throughout Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Today, I live in Mississippi with my wife, and our five children, as well as our pets.

A few years ago, my wife and I began to explore heathenry, and it was through that exploration that I discovered that I had inadvertently been raised heathen by my grandfather.  He never put a name to what we practiced, but he taught us to respect our warrior ancestors, and to always lead our lives with honor and integrity.  Once I realized how deeply ingrained the teachings of heathenry were in my own life, I sought to find a place to practice. Determined to pursue my beliefs and create a space for other heathens like me, I decided to join AMH. I was fortunate to encounter several supportive figures at Keesler Air Force Base, and now we are sponsored through the base, enabling both active duty and civilian heathens on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to practice with.
